Refund & Cancellation Policy
When refunds apply and how to request one. Last updated: June 2026.
At Data Mines Ghana we sell digital products — data bundles, airtime, and result-checker PINs — that are delivered instantly and automatically. This policy explains when refunds apply and how to request one.
1. Instant digital products
Because orders are delivered to the recipient within seconds and cannot be returned or "un-sent", all sales are final once the product has been successfully delivered. Please review every order carefully before paying.
2. Wrong recipient number
You are responsible for entering the correct recipient phone number and network. Orders delivered to a wrong or mistyped number cannot be reversed, recalled, or refunded, because the airtime, data, or PIN has already been issued.
3. Failed or undelivered orders (you are covered)
If your payment is successful but the product is not delivered — for example due to a network or aggregator outage — you are entitled to a remedy. We will, at your choice and after verification:
- Re-deliver the same product to the same number, or
- Refund the full amount you paid.
Please report undelivered orders within 7 days with your order reference so we can verify and resolve it quickly.
4. Result-checker PINs
Result-checker PINs are non-refundable once revealed or used, as they are single-use codes. If a PIN you purchased is invalid or fails to work and has not been used, contact us with the order reference and we will verify and replace or refund it.
5. Duplicate or incorrect charges
If you were charged more than once for the same order, or charged without receiving any product, we will refund the duplicate or undelivered amount in full after verification.
6. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method (usually the Mobile Money number you paid from). Refunds are typically processed within 3–7 business days after approval, though timing can depend on your payment provider.
7. How to request a refund
Contact us with your order reference / transaction ID, the recipient number, and a short description of the issue:
